Text Messaging Policy
By providing your mobile phone number to MDSTAT Urgent Care, you agree to receive text (SMS) messages from us related to your care and communication preferences.
You may receive messages such as:
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Follow-up care instructions
- Lab or test result notifications (when appropriate)
- Prescription or pharmacy updates
- Responses to messages you send us
- Occasional clinic service information
Message frequency varies based on your care needs and interactions with our clinics.
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. MDSTAT Urgent Care is not responsible for these charges.
Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not required to receive medical care or services from us.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a final confirmation. You may also call the clinic directly to request removal from text messaging. To re-enroll, simply contact us again.
For help, reply HELP to any message or call 916-2CALLMD (or the direct number of the location you visit).
We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including HIPAA when protected health information is involved.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We may update these SMS Terms periodically. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
